🌸 My GED Story 🌸

In 2018 I began to be faced with grief, financial hardship, health issues, and trauma. After spending many years struggling with attending school regularly due to my mental and physical health I made the decision to essentially drop out however this was not official until 2019 when I turned 17. I was supposed to be class of 2020 but it looks like I dodged that bullet. It has taken years of therapy , medication, and developing a stable support system with my father , grandmother, friends, and my partner in order to be in a place where I could take this test. I spent the first half of my adulthood stuck inside myself from severe ptsd that surrounded schooling , social situations , and intimacy. Most days I could barely take care of myself if I wasn’t working or actively seeing people in person. I shrunk inside myself and pushed so many people around me away. Even the idea of taking the test was too much to handle. Now after time has passed and those wounds have healed I was able to confidentially take all 4 tests and pass. I even finished a few hours earlier than expected.
