Are the fruits listed in order?

Have you ever considered that the order in which Paul lists the fruit of the Spirit implies that the first fruit is LOVE & all the other qualities flow from the presence of His love in us?

🩷JOY: delighting in God’s love & wonders of His creation

💜PEACE: resting on His promises & trusting to be fulfilled

🧡PATIENCE: waiting for the Lord

🩷KINDNESS: reacting lovingly

💜GOODNESS: choosing to do what is right

🧡FAITHFULNESS: remaining true to the Lord

🩷GENTLENESS: lovingly empathizing with people in need or in pain

💜SELF-CONTROL: actively resisting temptation

⭐️ ALL out of LOVE for Him ⭐️

All fruits operate out of love. It is difficult to obtain self-control without love in the Father.
