This is my go to recommendation for new fantasy readers! It not only is very light on the world building, it also still provides a satisfying and epic sneak peak into the genre without getting boring or confusing. This is a YA standalone book that is light and fun with a strong female main character💚

☕️Legends & Lattes - Travis Baldree

When I think of ‘Cozy Fantasy’ this book is what comes to my mind! This is a low stakes fantasy centered around an Orc opening her own coffee shop in a town that has never had coffee before. It’s cute, heartwarming, and such an easy short read!☕️

🪄The Invisible Life of Addie Larue - V.E. Schwab

This was one of the first fantasy books that I absolutely fell in love with! This book has such a unique premise about a main character who cannot be remembered. As soon as she leave the room, no one remembers she was there in the first place. On top of this she is cursed with immortality while being able to form zero lasting connections. This book is beautiful and tragic and so perfectly done🪄
