Best Denver, CO Bakery

If you are visiting Denver, Colorado or you already live here and are on the hunt for some hidden gems (specifically bakeries), then you have come to the right place! My older brother paid me a visit last weekend and we stumbled across this bakery that I want to tell all of my friends about. It is called LoDough Bakery and is located within the Dairy Block in downtown Denver on Wazee Street. It’s a wholesale bakery with a small batch storefront. The storefront focuses on local & organic ingredients, “hoping to provide better bread to the people”. When I say that all of the fresh-baked bread looked amazing-believe me. The area is super cute, and the staff is wonderful. The cashier threw in an extra cookie on the house for me!

🥐 Ham & Cheese croissant $8: The first item that is highlighted is the ham & cheese croissant. It is a huge item consisting of buttery, flaky layers. It is coated in everything bagel seasoning and stuffed with fresh ham and cheese. This would not have been my first choice, but I was actually encouraged to get it by a hotel worker down the street-which says something!

🍞 Banana bread $10: This banana bread was packaged up too nicely to ignore. It is a fresh-baked sweet, dense banana bread. It is wrapped in this paper & has a bow tied around it with a knife stuffed the ribbon so you can transport it easily. I heard it would be a nice pairing with a cappuccino or drip coffee!

🍪 Brown Butter Pecan Cookie $6: This cookie was everything you could ask for in a cookie. The brown butter was rich, but the pecans muted the sweetness. It was the perfect balance of soft & chewy, and it didn’t even need to be heated up. If you go to LoDough Bakery, then you definitely need to try one of their many cookie options!
