Anatomy & Physiology Survival Guide

Hi! My name is Bethany, and I am a 4th year nursing student living in New York City.

Many nursing and healthcare students have to take Anatomy & Physiology. But A&P is NOT an easy class.

I struggled with A&P at first, but I found some methods that made it better.

1. Active Recall: try answering A&P practice questions without looking at the answer until you get them right!

2. Open Lab: if your school offers them, A&P open lab is a great place to study using lab materials.

3. YouTube Videos: there are great A&P videos on YouTube made by students and professors

4. Study Group: finding a good group to study A&P with and keep each other accountable is so helpful. You can have each other ask practice questions or name apart and have them point at the model.

A&P is hard, but you have what it takes to succeed in that class. Good luck!
