Where to go study (nursing student’s version)

Hi! My name is Bethany, and I am a 4th year nursing student living in New York City.

It is important to find a place where you study best to stay productive and get the most work done within the time allowed.

Here are some places I go to study to stay productive.

Public Library: Most public libraries have free public Wi-Fi, a quiet and clean study area, and bathrooms.

Coffee shop: Sipping a good cup of coffee with your favorite pastry is the best setting to get some work done! I try to find a cafe with Wi-Fi and a large seating area. Pro tip: Bring noise-canceling headphones to stay distraction-free.

Dorm room: Sometimes, I like to study in my room, where I feel comfortable and at home (literally). You can also play music out loud and light a candle for an extra boost.

Open lab: If you are a nursing or STEM student studying for lab, ask your professor if he or she offers open lab. Open lab is a great place to study using lab materials.
