relationship GREEN flags

I had only imagined being loved the way Greg loves me, until I met him.

Looking back on the red flags I used to be unaware of / look past, I wanted to share 4 important GREEN flags that my eyes have been opened to.

The right one…

💚 encourages you to be yourself.

the right one will pick you because you’re YOU.

It’s your heart they love & they proudly adore who you are- including all your quirks or what you think are “flaws.”

💚 unconditional love.

being patient with the one you love is so important. We are humans and make mistakes; mistakes help us learn, & so being with someone who gives you grace when you don’t get it right is so helpful.

💚 holds you accountable.

having someone in your corner who helps you be the very best version of yourself is vital to your growth. the right one will honestly tell you the truth you need to hear, even when it’s hard, in a loving and thoughtful way.

💚 intentionality & follow through.

they say what they mean, mean what they say, and match their actions to their words.

When they say they will arrive at 6, they are on time. When you make plans, you can count on the fact that they will be there. They will hold your valuable trust by being consistent.

Shoutout to this loving, supportive, wonderful man who makes me feel beautiful, strong, & brings so much joy to my life!
