I struggled during the process of getting verified on Alipay in preparation for my trip to China..so here is a dummy guide on how to get verified immediately to prevent any hiccups of using the main app and “paynow” of China 🇨🇳

Even after uploading my passport information I felt uneasy not seeing [verified] showing on my account. Also saw many people commenting how waiting is not the solution 🙂‍↔️

The key is to go under “My Namecard” to tap on “Uncertified” to do something similar to a Face ID, and you will be verified immediately 🎉
