Is Candlelight Concert worth your money?

Couldn’t get The Eras Tour concert so I went for Candlelight Concert’s Taylor Swift Best Hits.

What I liked about it❤️:

1. It helps you to be present!!

You can only film the last song of the set. So this means that it helps you to be fully immersed in experience. I kinda like that because I find that most of us are inclined to film everything at a concert but this facilitates the experience of being present

2. It’s interactive

So I don’t know if this is the case for every concert, but the performer will pause after each segment (there are 3) to interact with us. She said that it’s her way of trying to bridge the gap between audience and performer. I thought that was quite meaningful for me because it never crossed my mind how the performer would feel also, so it kinda gave me a glimpse of their perspective.

3. It’s not as intimidating as I expected

I’ve never been to any classical music concerts so I thought there would be a dress code and everyone would be very solemn. But it turns out to be the opposite! There were people singing LMAO. I thought that was quite cute HAHA. Also you can wear anything you want. Of course, if you want to dress up that’s fine too.

Caveats🥺:

I mean I’m no professional musician but there were some hiccups here and there (and that’s totally normal!). So I don’t know if the professional musicians will like it. I personally liked that it was the musician’s own arrangements and it was a very pleasant experience for me😊

In conclusion, I think it’s really quite a novel experience!! I would really recommend this as a date idea or coming with your friends!!
