$46 on ice cream 🤪 // Madam Ooze ice cream

Madame Ooze Ice Cream Cafe & Dessert Bar (4.5 on google, 3.5 for me)

TLDR: not bad but quite pricey🥹 can try….

Very high reviews + closes late, situated near maxwell / chinatown. The only other croissant + ice cream combo ive had is dopa (and i think they removed it since then)🥶

We’re a large group so they din hav seats for us, lets jus say the outdoor seating is 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️ bus emissions and car noises HAHAHHAA. Its aight, we got 2 croissants and 6 scoops (because every 3 scoops u get $1 off😍 girl math)

Croissants ($4.90 ea) were flaky and crisy, topped with icing sugar on top, which made it v sugary and sweet. It gets soggy after awhile as the ice cream starts melting. However, i rly enjoyed this combo!!!

The ice cream we got were:

Speculoos biscoff ($6)

Sicilian pistachio ($6.90 x2)

Earl grey lavender ($6.90 rtp - $1 disc)

New york blueberry cheesecake ($6)

Vanilla ($6)

Brown rice krispies were complimentary! I liked the pistachio but found it abit too sweet for my liking. Wasnt the roasted type of pistachio ice cream too. NY cheesecake was enjoyable bc i love yoghurt tasting flavours! But my friend didnt like it bc its sour😭 Oh there was only one (1) blueberry LOL.

The earl grey lavender was really fragrant!!! But again, quite sweet. Biscoff and vanilla werent very impressionable so🥶 their ice creams are all rly creamy tho! ☺️

Overall, cosy seating (if you can get a seat inside) & p nice staff. Ice cream is decent but kinda pricey. I personally wouldnt return as I have ice cream spots nearby that I prefer more but CAN TRY!☺️
