I’ve been loving my daily glass of green juice and instead of getting one at the shops everyday - I make my own!! Saves you money and taste just as good ✨
I love drinking this in the morning and it helps me feel a lot better throughout the day.
I’ve felt less bloated & helps with my energy and of course many other benefits like clearer skin, reducing inflammation etc
I’m not an expert but I do what makes my body feel good and nourished!
This shouldn’t be kept for longer than two days (oxidises & strips some of the nutrients away) so make enough for 2 days and juice again when it’s out!
Avoid adding too much fruit because it will add too much sugar and defeat the purpose of green juice. If you add lemon/lime, remember to take the skins off as it concentrates the essential oils too much and can upset your stomach
- Recipe -
• 4-5 stalks celery
• 1 cucumber
• 1/2 lemon (skin off)
• 1/2 Granny Smith apple
• 1 inch ginger
- Steps -
• Wash and prep veg
• Put everything in the blender
• 1 cup of water and blend
• Strain through a sieve/cheesecloth
• Enjoy!!
