My Mom Doesnt Want Me To Drink On My 21st Birthday

I’m also bummed because I’ve never experienced an actual birthday parties with friends and all that and I want to but my friends are all in a different state.

Since my mom is in the state where my friends are at I was thinking of going up there to celebrate with all of them, that way I can also prevent my mom from coming down here and trying to prevent me from drinking.

I was also thinking about doing an activity that may involve alcohol but not drinking a ton. Such as wine tasting or painting wine glasses or a picnic with wine. She knows I’ve had wine before, my dad would give me some but not any other kind of drink. I feel like wine would be a little less crazy for her.
