THIS YSL BB CUSHION GAVE ME FLAWLESS SKIN! 🥰🎉

Don’t you love this gorgeous rock style BB Cushion?!? I managed to snag the very last of this limited edition BB Cushion cover from Ion Orchard sometime back in Feb/March. YSL had a free engraving promotion as well, so I engrave my name on it! I chose the star out of a selection of star, heart and lipstick symbol!

The YSL Le Cushion Encre de Peau is really the best BB cushion in my opinion. It provides enough coverage for a flawless skin look and yet it doesn’t look thick and cakey. There is a light fragrance. I somehow also find that my skin feels smoother every time I use it. I don’t know what sorcery that is. I am also a maniac for the YSL logo to be honest so I’ve been collecting a lot of YSL makeup items as well. I have several cushions and some eyeshadow makeup palettes. My color is 20 for this cushion. Used to be able to use 10 but have grown a little darker 😅.

I bought the Dior BB cushion and the Gucci BB cushion as well so I can do a quick comparison! The Dior BB cushion has lighter coverage and gives more of a natural look. I would say it’s a 3/10 in terms of coverage. I would need to layer a few times to get a more made-up look. The Gucci BB cushion somehow just appears cakey on me, and the colour looked kind of ashy and weird. I might have bought the wrong color, but still, I don’t really like to use it due to the cakiness.

As for the YSL, I think the coverage would be 7/10. It brightens up my skin tone and somehow the foundation just blends in with my oils throughout the day and I stayed made-up after a long day of use. I hardly touch up generally, fyi, so having a more lasting cushion fits me better.

The only major con I would say is the volume and the price. It’s S$102 for a 14g worth of product, which not everyone might be comfortable with. There is also a possibility of picking up too much product if you press on the cushion too hard, so do go light on it! The coverage is great, so a little goes a long way.
