Is SQ biz class worth it? | Tips and Tricks 🏝

If you are already redeeming so many miles on biz class, here is how to MAKE THE MOST out of the experience!

1️⃣ Arrive early at Changi Airport T2/3 to get your FREE FOOD at the Silverkris Lounge 🍰

The lounge provides food/drinks/dessert similar to a hotel buffet and cozy area to chill before your flight 😎

If you are rushing for time, allocating 20 to 40 min is sufficient!

I also saw an article online that says you can enter both Silverkris lounges at T2 and T3 - I did not try this so not sure if it actually works 🤔

2️⃣ DO NOT OVEREAT at the lounge like me!!

My flight was in the morning 8am and I typically don't eat that much for breakfast but I wanted to try more food

Major REGRETS because I was too full and had to force myself to eat the good stuff on the flight 😭

3️⃣ Remember to preorder your Book the Cook meal before your flight 😋

These are the more exclusive and premium food provided by SQ and ONLY AVAILABLE VIA PREORDER 4 months till 24 hours before departure

I chose the lobster thermidor and it was THICC and JUICI even though I was so full from the lounge food (amateur move!)

4️⃣ Get your free stuff!! 💰

Slippers, socks, eye mask

Some flights offer Bellinis as a choice for welcome drink apart from the usual apple/orange juice

My flight did not have that as I was flying out of India and they are not allowed to serve alcohol within India by law 🤷‍♀️

You can also ask for ginger tea / honey lemon drink on the flight - I tried my luck with these funky drink requests and it worked so yay!

And of course the plane toilets have complimentary dental set, comb & shaver

5️⃣ Visit the lounge at your destination

SQ has partner lounges globally so make sure to visit them when you return! Google "SQ partner lounges" and there is a whole list on SQ website to check if your destination has a partner lounge you can enter!
