My tip on having a perfect marriage…

Yep. I said it. No marriage is social media perfect.

My husband and I have been married for over 15 years now (together for 19) and we’ve had two pretty rough patches during that time. Once at our 7 year mark, and again last year. Last year almost broke us.

Social media lies to us about marriage. It tells us that most marriages are perfect and the ones that aren’t should get divorced. There’s no in between. But that’s not what I believe.

We spent the last year working on ourselves (see my post about my self healing journey) AND turning towards one another. Even when it was hard. There were times both of us thought it would never work, but it DID! ❤️

If you’re struggling with your marriage please reach out for help. It does take two willing to make it work - but don’t just quit. You never know what’s on the other side!

**If you are in an abusive situation obviously that’s a different situation and I’d never encourage anyone to just “stick it out”.
