WHY I USE A PERIOD CUP

I've been using a period cup since I was 16 and I don't regret it one bit, let's talk about it!

I use the flex cup as opposed to the diva cup (or similar alternatives) because I like how it mimics pulling out a tampon. It has a pull ring that releases suction from the outer edge so you don't have to dig around and release it yourself like some other period cups on the market. I HIGHLY recommend the flex cups.

I switched for a few reasons:

1. I backpack in the backcountry (i.e. no toilets or showers) a lot and it actually was the most hygienic and easiest option *for me*

2. I was worried about TSS, especially because I hate changing my tampons at school/out of the house

3. it is a no-waste alternative to period products

4. I've saved so much money by not having to purchase tampons/pads!
