I MOVED ABROAD!

I moved to london in september for a one year masters program and it was one of the biggest leaps of faith I've ever taken.

I moved in with someone I met online (she's also a masters student at my university) and I was honestly really worried about how the dynamic would be. I lived on campus all 4 years of uni (that was common!) and I was really used to living by myself. the whole 'adulting' part of graduating college and moving abroad scared me as well!

while it was a tricky adjustment at the beginning, I knew I needed a few things:

- a good community

- a gym near my apartment

- a local coffee shop

while I'm still working on building a community, I'm really proud of myself for how fast I've settled into London, especially considering how big of a city it is. I have a lot of content on my profile regarding friend dates and building connections which touches on the things I've learned since I moved!
