My favorite things to do in St. Louis

St. Louis is probably not your first choice when choosing where to vacation, but it has so much rich history and has SO many cool things to do! STL is my hometown and I thought I would share a few of my favorite things to do as a local. Here are a few of my favorite things to do that every tourist should do:

1. Catch a play/show at the fox theater. Not only is the interior amazing, but it’s such a historic location to catch a show or play and has been around for so many years! It lies in the heart of downtown St. Louis 🫶 We watched a Trevor Noah show that night which was amazing.

2. Attend a concert in the huge tent in downtown soulard! We attended a kaskade dj concert and it was absolutely amazing! This venue only shows up whenever there is a pop up concert and is highly anticipated. So I highly recommend checking out tickets ahead of time. Downtown Soulard is also home to amazing restaurants and bars and has a great nightlife.

3. Make sure you look for beautiful trails to hike alongside the Meramec river! Especially during the fall season. The fall trees are changing and it’s such a beautiful experience! Plus all the trails (at least those that I know of) are completely free and offer free parking!

4. You can’t come to St. Louis without visiting the arch! The cost is roughly 15$ per person and you get to go in an elevator to the top of the arch and see some amazing views of the city! This is a must do when visiting the city.
