LESSONS FROM LOSS: FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP EDITION ❤️‍🩹

Sometimes, certain people come and go out of your life. It hurts and you might now know why it happened at the time, but overtime you’ll figure it out and heal. 🤍

Here are some lessons I’ve learned that have helped me with friendship breakups and I hope they can help you in some way too:

–They were there for a season and left for a reason: people have purposes in your life. Some stay for the entirety and some only a short time. Either way, accepting and acknowledging that if they left for a reason helps you find some clarity and peace.

–You’ll find your people: you still haven’t met everyone who is meant to be a part of your tribe. Maybe this other person had to leave to make room for the right ones.

–It’s okay to grieve: People always say “just move on,” but that can be toxic. It’s entirely healthy to grieve the friendship you have in order for you to heal. Sometimes, it hurts worse than a regular breakup, so feel whatever you need to feel. 🕊
