How To Color Match Foundation: For Beginners

This one goes out to my beginner girlies who are wanting to know how to color match when you’re not 100% sure how to do it or what to look for!

If this is you, don’t worry I got you! 😉

1️⃣ Find the shade that is closest to your natural skin tone. Once you find a shade you think resembles your natural color, I than would place a small drop of the foundation at the back of my hand. (Places like Ulta have free testers you can try!)

2️⃣ Blend, blend, blend! After you place a small drop on your skin, you then will have to blend your foundation until it absorbs in your skin!

3️⃣ Lastly, it’s important to remember once you have finished blending and you see the foundation absorbed into your skin. You should have a bit of a hard time noticing the difference.

Congratulations! You just learned how to color match foundation! Once you have followed the 3 steps above make sure to write down the name

of the brand, the color etc so the next time you go shopping you will know what to look for 😊
