MUST EAT in PENANG! ✨

I went to Penang for weekend getaway with my Bf and these are the best 3 food we tried.

1. Hokkien Mee (Prawn noodle) 🦐 🍜

This Hokkien mee stall is located in One Corner Cafe (there are other food stalls in there as well). This was recommended by the local grab driver and we decided to try it. OMG really the best 🔥 Hokkien mee I ever tasted especially the broth was super flavourful 🥹. We reached there around 7:10am in the morning and there were already a lot people started queuing. The stall open at 8am, and we waited for nearly an hour to get our noodles. But the wait was so worthy. Will suggest to reach there early because it started to crowds even before 8am. The price is roughly 💵 SGD2.5 - 3 for one bowl.

2. Duck Kuey Zap 🦆 🍜

We found this Duck Kuey Zap by random when we decided to take a walk at the evening market before we head back to our hotel. As that time was around 5pm and not many stalls in the evening market were ready. We then spotted a few people started to queue in front of this stall and we were thinking maybe we should give it a try. We ordered the one person portion of 鸭拼盘 and two bowls of Kuey Zap. The 鸭拼盘 together with the chili sauce was damn good 👍🏻. The price is around 💵 SGD10.

3. Char Kuey Teow 🍝

I believe everyone know that Char Kuey Teow is one of the famous and must eat food in Penang. We initially wanted to eat the famous Siam Road Char Kuey Teow but the queue was really toooo loooong and we heard that the waiting time was 2 hours 😖. We don’t want to get burnt under the 1pm hot sun while queuing, so we walked to the front corner shop in Siam Road, which is Jin Cafe. There is also a Char Kuey Teow stall which was not so crowded. We ordered two plates of CKT and surprisingly it tasted freaking good as well. The wok hey omggggg 🔥. My Bf was so into it and he ordered another plate right after finishing his first plate. The uncle is very polite and we only waited for like 10-15 minutes after ordering. Most importantly it’s only 💵 SGD1.80 for one plate (small) !!!
