Chapter Five: The Way Out

The cabin twisted around Mia, the walls elongating into endless, shadow-filled corridors. Pulsing symbols flickered in erratic patterns, making the air feel heavier with each passing second. The black cat leaped onto Mia’s shoulder, hissing with defiance, its fur standing on end as if ready to defend her from the dark presence.

In the distance, Mia spotted a glowing white door—her only chance for escape. Heart pounding, she knew she had to act fast. But the shadowy figure moved swiftly, blocking her path with an ominous hiss that seemed to drain the warmth from the room.

Summoning every bit of courage, Mia prepared to make a run for the glowing door. Time was running out, and the figure wasn’t going to let her leave easily.

“Not everyone finds the way out,” the figure whispered, “but you might… if you’re quick enough.”

With the cat clinging to her shoulder, Mia took a deep breath—and ran.
