Blazers in the Philippines: Dumb or chic?

Is wearing blazers in a tropical 🏝 country like the Philippines dumb or chic? 🤔 That is the big question.

As for me, I adore blazers! 🧥 I think they always add an extra flair to any outfit. They could come in many different styles like cropped, oversized, plain, or blinged out, and they could be worn absolutely anywhere depending on how you style them. In fact, I wear them almost every time I head out! When I go to the movies, the grocery, or even when I host for events, blazers are my go-to fashion staple when I want to step up an outfit. And they do! ✨

There are pros to wearing a blazer. For one, blazers elevate your fit for sure! They are an easy answer to hiding your arms and tummy if you need a little coverage, too. 🙆🏻‍♀️ But I admit, wearing them here in the Philippines is challenging because it can get so warm! The trick is to find ones made with thin and light fabrics.

But if you’re not a blazer-type of person and think the sleeves are a bit too much, my tip is to opt for a vest! This offers the same sleek look, but with less of the hot fabric.

Uniqlo is a great place to find different kinds of blazers. From printed to plain ones, thick to thin, I would definitely recommend Uniqlo as a first stop when finding the perfect blazer for you. 😊
