💡Ming’s thoughts:

I came across this cream during my summer holidays in Portugal last month. A pharmacist recommended it to me when I enquired for post-sunburn care.

My intuitive thought was to look for a jar of aloe vera gel initially. However, given that the pharmacist said “it’s really good” and I have a good impression of the brand (I really like Avene sunscreen), I decided to give this a shot.

The aim was to help heal my boyfriend’s sunburnt neck. The back of his neck was super red, hot and it’s painful under sun exposure.

My honest first impression - this is the thickest cream I have ever used (refer to image 3). It took me a bit of patience to spread it evenly over affected areas.

I applied plenty the first time and it left an obvious layer of white cream on the skin. The cream was absorbed eventually.

Although this is not the easiest texture to work with, I support this product 100% because of the amazing results.

The official instruction is to apply it twice a day, but I applied 3 times on the first day. After 2 applications, my boyfriend felt that the pain was largely relieved. Most redness faded the next day, and it took 1 more day for all redness to disappear.

I rated the product full for scent, because there is absolutely no smell.

Compared to my aloe vera gel experience, I prefer using this because I can apply it less frequently and the healing is faster. The cream also helps with the itch during the peeling phase.

Additionally, I also found out other uses of the cream when searching on the official brand website.

Really happy to have found this gem! I will definitely explore other ways of usage where applicable.
