Summer fires🔥

Based on a quick internet search there have been 28,909 fires in between 1/1/2024 and 8/4/2024 burning a total of 4,565,907 acres…. I may LOVE the pink sky’s but I do NOT love what it’s doing to our environment! Yes lots of them are not intentionally set but I also know there are some horrible people out there setting fires to our forests and homes. For the last month and a half there hasn’t been a single day under 95 degrees where I live and there are people intentionally setting fires (mostly homeless ppl) which has made it so I won’t allow my children outside to play due to the horrible air quality.. my daughters favorite thing to do is swim and ride her bike and I’m so proud she’d rather be outside than playing on an iPad or watching tv, this is my sons first summer and it’s been spent with us practically stuck inside unable to do as many fun things as I’d like🥹 People seriously need to stop setting fires! our planet is already in a bad place we don’t need it to get worst……😭😭😭
