38 wks & 2 DYS update!

I am officially almost done with waiting i am considering so many options to get things moving lol i measured 1cm dilated at my 36wks appointment and haven’t gotten another cervical check since, mainly because it was so uncomfortable and painful i just didn’t want to put my body through that again until my upcoming 39wks appointment which i am soooo nervous about i was told i was measuring behind 33cms but they don’t seem concerned told me i was fine since i am a small person myself and my NST’s have been going super well and throughout my whole pregnancy i have gained 22 pounds so i am not concerned myself either🩷 i haven’t 100% decided if i want to do a membrane sweep yet butttt i am pretty certain about scheduling my 40wk self-induction!! I am definitely going to see how much progress Ive done since my 36wks cervical check and i think I’ll use that to determine if i want a membrane sweep or not the only reason i want to speed up the process is because i don’t have much support the only people i truly want there are my sister, boyfriend, and SIL but my SIL lives 2 hours away and will only be in town the 29-31 so nothing is absolutely promised but if i can have my baby girl sooner and at least have my SIL meet my girl i would be just as happy🩷
