Got my heart broken plenty of times before.. ive been hurt, criticised, insulted, looked down on plenty of times by the very same man I wanted to marry.

I was 18 and I got into my very first serious relationship. I thought he was what I wanted and what I needed. Over time, I realised the more we quarrelled, the more he grew sick and tired of me.

He wanted to leave, not once but many times. But each time reasoned my way out begged him to stay, because I was afraid to lose him. But slowly his heart faded away. His texts became short and cold, he no longer seemed excited to see or meet me.. Saying that I’m hurt is an UNDERSTATEMENT 🫥

But worst thing I did in my life is that I begged him to stay. Yes even though he stayed for a bit, but that was only because he pitied me. He lost ALL RESPECT for me when I kept on begging him to stay. Why? Because he got used to it. He found me ANNOYING.

So girls, listen up. Be it your bestie or your bf, NEVER BEG ANYONE TO STAY IN YOUR LIFE no matter HOW MUCH you love them ❌❌❌

If they truly love you, they’d stay. Give them time and they will solve whatever issues you both have. What’s meant to be yours, will be yours.
