Styling 101 | How To Style a Skirt Multiple Ways

Repeating the same pieces of clothing should be normalized and not looked down upon. I genuinely couldn’t care less if people were to say i’m an outfit repeater, because indeed i am & i’m proud of it.

By buying basic & timeless pieces, you’re able to mix and match thus creating tons of new outfits. This is one of the best things about fashion, creating and experimenting new looks!

Today, i would like to show you how i styled the same skirt multiple ways in another #styling101 post. This white crepe linen skirt is from H&M and i’ve truly been wearing this alot as of lately. One of my best purchases this year.

Essentially, i styled both of these skirts with an outerwear but i played it differently on the silhouettes. Since my jacket on the first look is bigger & weighs the look down, i opted for low cut sneakers. This brings back the proportions of the overall look and not make it look too heavy.

On the other hand, since my jacket on the second look is shorter, i opted for knee high boots as it elongates my body & elevates the overall look. Proportions are very important when curating a look so know what looks good on you!
