Bucketlist hotel in Venice, Italy

If you ever stay in Venice, staying in a hotel next to the canal is a must! Not only does it mean you get a waterfront view, but it’s also easier to get to the main sites by walking or getting to a “vaporetto” station.

I’ve been to Venice many times but this has to be my favorite place I’ve stayed: Palazzetto Pisani Grand Canal

How to get there:

The address is S. Marco, 2814, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy. You can take a water taxi from the Marco Polo Airport or if coming from the train or bus station, using the ferry the closest vaporetto station is S. Maria del Giglio.

Food options:

There is a restaurant located in the hotel and we ate there for dinner once, but I would recommend eating out in the city.

Price and how to book:

-We booked directly on the website but if you want a room with the canal view make sure the title says “Grand Canal”, and email them to make sure. The room we booked is Suite Superior Grand Canal- Palazzo Foscolo. Our room was $144 but the rooms range from $130-$400. They even have penthouses that are $4000 a night!
