Say no more to food wastage by doing this easy and no bake vanilla cake pops. You can bring this cake pops for any celebration and of course make it colourful for more fun effect of the cake pops !
Prep time : 2 hours
Cooking time : 30 - 40 minutes
Yield : 25-30 cake pops
Recipe :
BOWL A
Unsalted Butter - 60g Icing Sugar - 3/4 cup Vanilla essence - 1/2 tbsp
Heavy Cream - 1 tbsp
BOWL B
White chocolate coin- 300-400g
BOWL C Leftover vanilla cake
BAKING STEPS:
1. Prepare all the ingredients (Bowl A,B,C)
IN BOWL A (frosting)
1. Mix the butter until soft
2. Add icing sugar (stage by stage)
3. Add on heavy cream
4. Add vanilla essence
IN BOWL B
1. Melt white choc (you can double boil or microwave them for 30 seconds)
IN BOWL C
1. Cut the cake into few pieces and crumble them all (you can also use mixer or hand mixer for this stage)
2. Add the frosting (Bowl A - Bowl B) into the cake and mix them until it turns into a dough.
CAKE BALLS
1. Take your measuring spoon (1 tbsp) and scoop the cake dough.
2. Roll the cake dough with your hand in circle motion.
3. Once complete keep the cake balls in the freezer for 1 hour. (The cake balls need to be super
chilled before dipping)
DIPPING & DECORATION
1. Dip the stick about 1/4 with chocolate.
2. Dip the cake balls into the melted chocolate. (you can use batch by batch as we do not want the
cake balls to defrost for too long that the chocolate won’t cool faster)
3. Immediately sprinkle the cake balls with some sprinkles for a POP of colour.
4. Dry them on a tray / polystrene (you can also use a lollipop holder)
NOTES :
1. Do not put too much frosting as it will produces a super wet and greasy cake pops.
2. Make sure that the cake balls are cold (extremely) before dipping.
