bookclub: a bookstore and wine bar

As a bookish person my favorite place in nyc is the Book Club. Located in the East Village, this bookstore is a special one as it features a wide selection of books, a bar with wine/cocktails and a coffee station as well!!

With plenty of seating space (sidewalk tables, indoors and even a patio) this bookstore is extra cozy!! PRO TIP: laptops are not permitted here after 6pm!! This makes it the perfect place to unwind after work!

On my trip I visited the book club bookstore a total of 3 times! Seeing as I was there for only a week, 3 times is impressive!! The first time was on a Saturday and it was PACKED!! I could only grab a seat outside but the second and third time were a lot more chill and cozy! I had the opportunity to sit at the bar and order delicious espresso martinis with a friend!

Q: What is your drink of choice when reading? Mine is definitely coffee on most days but when I switch it up I opt for a sangria.
