NEW JB CAFE 5 MIN WALK FROM CITY SQUARE (*^o^*)

Hi everyone! 🌷 It seems to be travelling period now and I see everyone going everywhere!!! 🥹 So jealous!!! I do have some planned trips myself too in the coming months but I recently decided to take a day trip to JB to relax~ 😋 I chanced upon this cafe only 5 minutes walk away from City Square Mall which is perfect if you are taking train/bus! 😊

First of all, I love the design of the cafe, it has a neutral/rustic, minimalist aesthetic which is perfect for nice photos! (Both of the cafe and of you 😗) The cafe is pretty new and I believe it opened only a few months ago! 🤩

They had a good variety of food and drinks! You can view the menu online as well 😋 Their most popular foods seem to be their tiger prawn pasta or truffle/mushroom dishes so that is what I ordered! 🤩 Here is my honest review~

✿ Silky Pumpkin Soup: Sweet and savoury, but could have stronger pumpkin taste and a thicker consistency! Others seemed to enjoy the mushroom soup more ☺️

✿ Truffle Mash Potato: This was good! Had a strong truffle taste and was creamy!!!

✿ Tiger Prawn and Mussel Pasta: The seafood was juicy and the noodles were seasoned well with an underlying seafood flavour!

✿ Truffle and Mushroom Risotto: Seasoned really well and sauce was addictive! But was a little disappointed that the risotto was not soft but more of hard rice 🥺 Neverthless, it was still a yummy main overall with the addition of the chewy mushrooms!

✿ Yuzu Rose Tea: I loved this!!! They have many different tea drinks and I chose this as I saw it in a review~ The yuzu and rose taste were both strong and it was not too sweet! LOVE!

Coffee is pretty good too! 🥰 Overall, I would rate this cafe 4/5~ This spread was only about $40SGD which in my opinion is super affordable compared to SG!!! 😍 Definitely give it a try if you are nearby JBCC/City Square! 🥵
