LA STRADA | DELECTABLE CLASSIC ITALIAN FAVS 🇮🇹

If you know me, I LOVE!!! Italian food~ 🤤 Today, I will be sharing with you an amazing modern Italian restaurant I went to for dinner last weekend. Do note that this place is pretty pricey, but I would say it was worth it!

By Les Amis Group, La Strada is a restaurant bringing reimagined Italian cuisine in an intimate yet modern setting~ The menu has a variety of Italian choices, from starters to desserts!

First, as I am a calamari gal 😋, we decided to get the Baby Calamari Fritti with Truffle Mayo, and we were not disappointed! The calamari was fresh and the coating was very cripsy, perfect with the truffle infused mayo dressing! The truffle did not overpower the fried calamari too and really complemented it! 🤩

Next, we ate the classic Carbonara. You may be wondering, $38 for Carbonara??? 🤨 However, this was so special and really good! Carbonara usually has egg yolk based sauce, but here, they added truffle parmigiano sauce which made it so creamy and delicious! To top it all off, the fried pancetta really added more flavour and depth to the dish… it was so good!

Next, we had the Charcoal Grilled Australian Wagyu Flapmeat in medium rare. This was really good too, especially with the sauce (veal jus) and mashed potatoes 😭 It was tender and so juicy! Was not a fan of the arugula though hehe

Lastly, (we were about to explode) we had the Tiramisu for dessert! This was a great end to our meal but I would say that I have tried even better Tiramisu! 😋 However, it was still very moist, and you could taste the Kahlua which was a plus~

Overall, I would definitely come back to try more dishes (psst they have Burrata 🥵)! Do make a reservation if possible as they can get busy on weekends~
