The best DIY setting spray!

Recently, I was searching alternatives to a face mist/setting spray for my make up. I came across a creator who suggested the following.

I decided since I have all of the products at home, I made the Settings spray.

It calls for two parts glycerin, two parts alcohol or witch hazel, and plain old water. I use filtered water. I also used more water than suggested because I felt like the glycerin left my face very sticky… which may be ideal if you want to use it as a primer. But that’s not what I wanted for this particular situation.

I put it all together in a spray bottle, gave it a good shake, and have been using it ever since.

Not only do I use it for my face and setting my make up, but I also use it on my skin after I shave.

I’ve really been loving it because the glycerin keeps your skin very moisturized. And the combination creates a barrier for your skin.
