Another book down, let’s talk about it

Honestly I struggled a little bit trying to get into this book right up until half way into the book. One thing I’ve noticed about Natasha Preston is she likes to end the book on a cliff hanger. I tried to google if she had a second book but I’m my Google search I found that she has no plan on writing any sequels to her books. (Don’t shoot me if I’m wrong I’m just going based off of what I read from a Google search)

It starts out talking about how the main characters, boyfriends father ends up in prison for going on a murder spree but then a year later people started getting murdered again. Towards the middle of the book the main character becomes the target. Being chased through a corn field, ran off the road and then the main characters best friend gets kidnapped and she tries to save her best friend. It’s later revealed that the boyfriends father was never behind any of it. It’s his sister and his father took the wrap for it.

⭐️Overall rating: 2.5/5: didn’t really get into the book until towards the middle. Didn’t really like how the book ends on a cliff hanger with no plans of being a second book.
