Next stop: Seoul 🇰🇷 🛍️

Korea is one of the besttt places to go, with all the yummy food and trendy shopping areas, it's quite literally a eat-shop-sleep heaven. So here are some of the places you should definitely visit the next time you're in the Capital, Seoul!

First up, we have Gyeongbokgung Palace which was built in 1395 🏗️ as the main palace in the Joseon Dynasty. The entrance fee is 1500krw* for a child and 3000krw *for an adult. Admission is free for children under 7 and adults over the age of 64. The palace also offers hanbok rental for those who wish to dress up 💄and take pictures around the area!

Next is Lotte World and Everland. Both are famous theme parks 🎡 in Korea that offer a variety of rollercoasters, rides 🎠 and food stores. Lotte has an indoor and outdoor area, covering a large plot of land. Everland does have more thrilling rides 🎢 than Lotte World though, so it would be better for thrill seekers to visit that theme park instead. Lotte World admission tickets go for 36,000krw* for adults and 29,000krw* for children while Everland costs 46,000krw-68,000krw* for adults and 36,000krw-58,000krw* for children depending on the different days.

Thirdly, Nami Island is a river island 🏞️ in Seoul that you have to take a boat or zipline to get to. The island has a gorgeous natural landscape and is perfect for all seasons. I went for the Nami Island Tour package which included a tour of Petite France 🗼and the Gangchon Rail Bike 🛤️ ticket to cycle around Nami Island. This took a whole day but it was so worth it to see the island in all its beauty.

Last but not least, Myeongdong and Hongdae shopping streets 🛍️. These streets are lined with incredibly trendy clothing shops 👗or cosmetic shops. They also have spottings of food places so you can shop till you're hungry, stop for a bite and continue where you left off. Always come to Korea with a huge amount of luggage space 🧳 in case you go on a shopping craze and bring back half of these streets with you 🤭
