my dream bed 😍

hello everyone! I’m really excited about this post in particular! Because my dream bad finally arrived😍 this bed has been on my wish list for so many months now, and I am super excited to show it to you guys!

It is the Japan bed by karup design. And as you can see, it is a very low, very close to the ground, Japanese futon style bed made out of unpainted wood. And it is designed in a very minimal way, which also made it super easy to assemble. It didn’t take long for me to assemble it all by myself (I just needed help flipping it once the frame was finished).

As you might remember from my previous posts, I sold my boxspring bed and slept with my mattress on the floor for the past couple of months. I really liked the vibe of having my bed so close to the ground. This bad has the same vibe while also providing a little more support for your back.
