Let’s see your puppies!🐶🎀🫶🏼

Every morning in our house begins the same way—with a furry, joyful burst of energy named Nola. Nola is our golden retriever and black lab mix, and she is the most hyper, loving puppy you could ever imagine.

It’s impossible to stay asleep when Nola decides it’s time to wake up. Without fail, she’ll leap onto the bed, her tail wagging furiously, and flop right on top of us. It doesn’t matter how much space there is—Nola believes that the best spot to snuggle is as close as possible. She’ll nuzzle her head into the crook of our necks, as if she’s saying, “Good morning! I love you! Let’s start the day!”

But the snuggles don’t last long because, before we know it, Nola’s energy is in full swing. As soon as she’s off the bed, she’s racing around the house, investigating every nook and cranny, especially if she thinks there’s a chance of finding food. Nola is known for her insatiable appetite, and if it’s edible—or even if it’s not—Nola will find it.

One morning, while we were making breakfast, Nola decided she couldn’t wait for her share. In the blink of an eye, she jumped up onto the kitchen counter and grabbed an entire loaf of bread! Before we could even react, she had it in her mouth, prancing around the house like she’d won the lottery. Of course, we couldn’t help but laugh as we chased her down to retrieve the bread. Nola may be mischievous, but her antics are always filled with so much joy that it’s hard to stay mad at her.

By the end of the day, after all the running, playing, and (hopefully) avoiding more food theft, Nola’s energy finally starts to wind down. And that’s when she returns to her favorite place—right by our side. She’ll curl up next to us on the couch, her head resting on our lap, as if to say, “I had a great day, and I love you so much.”

Life with Nola is never boring. She keeps us on our toes, but she also fills our home with endless love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way way !
