MY THOUGHTS AS A CONTENT CREATOR🍋

No one talks about the dopamine addiction that comes with being a content creator😮‍💨 The constant refreshing, the obsession with metrics, the high you feel when a video goes viral, and the crippling gut blows when a paid sponsorship flops🫠

What I’m loving about LEMON8 right now is the lack of ads and fixation on monetizing your content. We’re not being pressured to create a certain way, we’re not selling anything, we’re just here to vibe and build community🤗 While I’ve noticed some users trying to teach growth strategies and give analyses already (which is wild IMO), for the most part it’s been so refreshing to have a space where creatives can shine and just create for creating sake! It’s giving 2013 Tumblr era and I’m here for it!!

Juggling multiple social media platforms is exhausting and trying to decode algorithms and develop strategies can definitely lead to burnout. For now I’m enjoying the vibes on here, just posting authentic content that I love and meeting so many new people! It feels like such a safe space and I really hope it stays that way!
