Simple Ingredient Substitutions

Use real matcha. By using the Bolthouse Farms, we are able to add protein to the dessert. However, if you prefer traditional matcha, add on tablespoon (or to taste).

Add protein powder. Of course, if you want the protein punch, add one scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. To keep this recipe sugar-free, use a clean protein powder, such as Orgain Organic Protein Powder.

Switch out the fruit. Try using dried berries or sliced fruit instead of pineapple.

Create your base. In a large bowl, combine the Greek Yogurt and vanilla extract. Stir well.

Add in your crunchy bits. Fold in nuts and dried pineapple.

Add in your matcha. When fully combined, pour matcha in slowly, making sure to stir well. This will give the yogurt a more spreadable consistency.

Spread it out. Line a baking sheet or pan with parchment paper and spread the yogurt mixture over evenly.
