Ran out of breakfast spots in JB? Must-try here!✨

If you happen to be entering JB from Tuas checkpoint, you can’t miss this breakfast gem at Gelang Patah. Although it is quite secluded into the kampung area, the food was well worth the trip!

〰️ Nasi Lemak Sambal Paru (+🍗) was easily one of the tastiest nasi lemak I’ve had in Johor! The chicken was crispy and full of flavours, rice was fragrant and they gave extra ikan bilis and peanuts for free upon request. The chilli is slightly on the sweeter side, just how I like it with my nasi lemak.

〰️ Roti Bakar Telur Goyang 🍳 🍞 unsurprisingly tasted similar to a Kaya toast. Crispy toast with a hint of sweetness and creaminess that comes through from the runny egg yolk. Had to order twice!

〰️ Kopi Mentega was decent but nothing to shout about. The oil from the butter ended up pooling on the surface of the drink, perhaps I should have gotten the hot one. 🧈 ☕️

Nice ambience, great for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
