SPENT $500 ON MY JAPAN HAUL (still worth it)

Here’s what I splurged on during my trip to Japan:

1) SKINCARE - as someone who swears by Japanese skincare products, shopping in Japan was heaven for me. Prices compared to Singapore’s were dirt cheap. You’ll find the likes of Hada Labo, Melano CC and SANA at and less than SGD $8-10 respectively. Let’s not even talk about more expensive and exclusive brands like Kosé, Orbis and Shiseido.

2) WELLNESS - bought a high quality facial towel for my sensitive face (not in the pics), plus a water flosser to ensure good oral health! Also added an ergonomic mouse to my haul because I don’t want carpal tunnel syndrome 🥲

3) CLOTHES - I am a sucker for basic, classic pieces for casual and work occasions. I’m also always on the lookout for good innerwear because my skin tends to get irritated easily. Taken together, I’m essentially a walking target for Uniqlo and its sister brand, GU. As you can guess, they emptied my wallet 😭 they have so many items on sale too. For instance, I got a white cropped tank top for SGD $5. Their clothing quality is great when compared to the price points too 🩶

I’m done with shopping for the rest of 2024.. (and probably 2025 for skincare). Worth it I would say, because these were stuff that I needed and had I gotten them in Singapore, I would’ve had to fork out much more $$.
