Korean Sun Stick Comparison and Review

If you’ve ever wondered how you can reapply sunscreen on top of makeup, let me introduce you to sunscreen sticks! My two current favorites are the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick and the ABIB Quick Sunstick Protection Bar. Here are my thoughts on each:

Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick, $13-27

This water based sunscreen stick is formulated with 8-layer hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin, without leaving behind any sticky residue or white cast. The tear drop shape allows for easy application, even around tight areas like around the nose and between the eyebrows. This sunstick easily glides on top of makeup and has a matte, velvety finish.

ABIB Quick Sunstick, $13-22

This water resistant, chemical sunscreen stick has a curved design that easily glides across the contours of the face and is completely clear, leaving no whitecast. The formula is hydrating and soothing and contains peptides, ceramides , and centella extract to help to strengthen the skin barrier. This sunstick also easily glides over makeup, however gives more of a glowy finish.

Overall, both sunsticks have their unique benefits and are great options for sun protection since both have SPF 50, PA ++++. If you’re concerned with shine or prefer a matte finish, go for the Isntree Airy Sun Stick. But if you want a long-lasting, water-resistant option with hydrating benefits, try the ABIB Quick Sunstick.
