WASH YOUR FRUIT!

🍓 It is so important that you wash your fruit before you eat it! There is so much dirt, pesticide, preservative, etc. coating it when you buy it. Just rinsing it under cold water is not enough!!! Water by itself is NOT strong enough to get all this stuff off. Here’s how I do it! 🍓

——> Take all the fruit out of their packages/off their stems

——> Do a quick rinse with cold water

——> Put all the fruit in a large container & fill it with water until the fruit is submerged

——> Pour a small amount of the produce wash into the water & mix the fruit up with your hands

——> Let it soak for about 5-10 minutes & then drain

——> Do one more quick rinse with cold water & you’re done!

Do this with grapes, blueberries, blackberries, etc. but DO NOT soak strawberries! They are very absorbant & they will soak up the produce wash & change the taste!
