This was a real life story - a guy I knew invited me to his birthday party and the theme was Great Gatsby. So I started shopping in my closet. First I looked up the theme to get a better idea. I saw sequence, embellished pieces, pearls, and feathers!

I have this midi skirt for a while now it was one of my ZARA finds! I was never sure what I’d use it for. Initially I tried it as a skirt but I wasn’t feeling it… I pulled it up and 💣 a dress was created.

I blew out my hair big with and held the bounce while I got ready with DryBar rollers. I then needed to accessorize.

I had this embellished headband that I made a makeshift choker with a safety pin securing it. I love how it came out. Threw on a pair of heels and a $1 boa… and before you know it I was party ready! #lemon8partner #themedparties #outfitideas
