Lip Oils That Are Actually Worth It! 🫶🏻

I’ve tried quite a few lip oils and these are my favorite! Here’s the details!

🩵 Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil 🩵

❀ Consistency?

I would consider this to be a thinner formula but it’s not the thinnest out there!

❀ Feel?

This has SUCH a unique feeling on the lips. I heard someone say it feels as if your lips aren’t even touching, and I agree! It’s superrrr smooth and also has a slight minty feeling but it’s not plumping!

❀ Scent?

None! And I’m talking my nose picks up nothing from it. It’s not like the Saie or Tower28 glosses where there’s a cosmetic scent. ♡

❀ Longevity?

If you’re not eating or drinking much then this lasts FOREVER.

❀ Nourishment?

All of these lip oils listed here are nourishing but this one in particular is super good. It just makes the lips feel soft and plush.

❀ Pigment?

These lip oils in particular are pretty opaque. The one featured in the pictures above is Blush Dreams!

❀ Applicator?

One of my FAVORITE doe foots ever. It’s insanely soft.

❀ Price? $26

❀ Extra:

I know a lot of people have mentioned this lip oil running out insanely fast. I personally haven’t noticed this. I do have quite a few lip oils and do rotate them a lot so that could be the reason. But I love it and think it’s worth giving a try if that’s causing hesitancy.

🩵 Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil 🩵

❀ Consistency?

Once again a thinner formula but not the thinnest out there!

❀ Feel?

It’s kinda interesting because I can tell this is honey infused but I don’t want that to scare you because it’s smooth and non-sticky, I promise! I really enjoy it.

❀ Scent?

Every one of these has a different scent that matches the name! The one featured here is Watermelon Sugar and smells like a watermelon jolly rancher! Personally, I don’t think it’s overbearing but I’m not sensitive to scents so beware if you are! 🫶🏻

❀ Longevity?

Again, without eating or drinking this has a pretty long wear-time BUT I can tell this one sinks into the lips quicker than the others on this list. The point of it is to nourish and it’s definitely nourishing!

❀ Nourishment?

Like I mentioned above, you can tell it’s honey infused and the honey does its job! I often put this on after I’ve exfoliated my lips!

❀ Glossiness?

Oh. My. Godddddd. Guys you don’t understand my obsession with how glossy these lip oils are. THEY LOOK LIKE GLASS. I about levitated when I first applied it.

❀ Pigment?

Depends on which color you get! Watermelon Sugar is pretty much clear with pink sparkles! And trust me—the sparkles are sparkling! You also can’t feel them unless you put multiple layers on. BUT Cherry on the Cake, their newest red lip oil, does have quite a bit of sheer pigment.

❀ Applicator?

I loveeeeee this applicator. It’s so fun and different. It’s slightly curved upward for better application and it’s ✨magnificent✨

❀ Price? $28

🩵 Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oil 🩵

❀ Consistency?

This is the thickest formula out of this list and I love it!

❀ Feel?

Smooth and comfortable!

❀ Scent?

These are heavily scented. I personally enjoy it since, again, it doesn’t normally bother me. This one in particular is their clear Passion Fruit Coconut!

❀ Longevity?

Since this is a thicker formula it tends to last longer which I highly enjoyyyyy! It also doesn’t leave any tackiness once it’s faded!

❀ Nourishment

This has great nourishment! It’s my favorite to keep on my living room table.

❀ Pigment

I’ve only tried the clear one so I can’t comment on the pigment. But from what I’ve seen, they look to be impressive in this category!

❀ Applicator?

This has a big doe foot which is nice BUT it’s not a super soft doe foot. It’s pretty stiff.

🩵 Clarins Lip Oil 🩵

❀ Consistency

This is the THINNEST lip oil I’ve personally tried.

❀ Feel

Smooth!

❀ Scent

Depends on what shade you get. I got cherry and personally love the scent! But I know others don’t because they get cherry medicine from it.

❀ Longevity

Excluding eating or drinking, it’s pretty impressive since it is such a thin formula! But it does sink in to nourish the lips quickly. So you may find it doesn’t last as long as some of the others listed here.

❀ Nourishment

HANDS DOWN IS ONE OF THE BEST. I would say this one is the most “healing” out of all of these. If I have chapped lips I would apply this one.

❀ Pigment

The cherry one has amazing pigment. It’s a great sheer red if you want a wash of color!

❀ Applicator

After Summer Fridays THIS is my favorite applicator. It’s a big doe foot that is sooooooo soft.

❀ Price? $30

❀ Extra:

I know there’s an issue with these leaking. To prevent this you have to keep it up at all times. It CANT be lying on its side (I know in the pictures it is but I was quick to take the pic hahahahaha) This isn’t safe to keep in your purse! But I do think the formula is worth it!
