Rating this Glossier highlighter stick

I’m usually a huge fan of glossier, and I actually have a few of their lip balms.

And I really wanted to love this highlighter stick. However, for me, I noticed that whenever I try to use it with make up it just smudged around my make up and it did not work very well. Maybe I’m applying it incorrectly so that could be the problem.

when I use it just on my fresh clean skin, it’s amazing but most times I wanna wear it with make up on.
