It's time to get out a notebook and start journaling! In today's post I went over just three of the benefits that journaling has on your mental health, but there are soo many more benefits!

Here are my top three reasons for journaling everyday!

Helps reduce anxiety. Since you can only write one thing down at a time, journaling forces you to only think about that one thing rather than overthinking about a bunch of things all at once.

Helps reduce burnout. Journaling can help you cope with stressful events and emotions.

Helps regulate emotions and overall mood. By journaling daily, studies have proven that people's moods and emotions start to regulate overtime. This is due to the fact that by putting a stressful experience into words you allow your brain to form a new perspective on the event or experience.
