Moving Day Prep

Come pack my Do Not Move Box with me in preparation for the movers this week! This is does NOT include the clothes I’m setting aside.

1. The most important thing I want to make sure I have on my person is my personal documents, such as my birth certificate, social security card, etc. These are things I absolutely do NOT want to get lost in transit on the moving truck.

2. I like to have a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner set aside solely so I don’t have to rummage through dozens of boxes to find them. I also plan on putting a bottle of body wash in here as well.

3. Things like batteries, mementos, command hooks, etc. Anything I’ll need first thing in the new place.

4. This one won’t apply to everyone. My boyfriend and I are planning a Disney trip in early 2024. Because of this, I want to make sure that everything for that trip (especially the gift cards) are on my person instead of on the moving van.

5. A white board for my new fridge. Because I KNOW I’m going to be forgetting so many things when I get there 😂😂

6. Rocks from my most recent trip. Because why not 😂

7. My daily hair and skin care products. Now these won’t get packed in the DNM box until closer to time, just because I know I’m going to need them before then.
