Newborn stage is hard. But don’t worry, it passes so fast (as sad as that is).

diaper cream: using diaper cream as a preventative measure is a great way to make sure you can avoid diaper rash as best as possible, diaper rash on a newborn is so difficult because it upsets them so much!

shifts with partner: this will save you at night time! It will help make sure you both get adequate sleep to help take care of baby.

never leave without a stocked diaper bag!: I promise there will come a time where you need these burp clothes and extra outfits!😅

learn your babies hunger cues: this is so you can feed your baby right when he or she gets hungry in order to prevent a huge meltdown.

accept help: please allow people to help you, it will save your sanity! Having time alone or a nap or to clean is so important.

Say no if you don’t want someone to hold your baby: remember mother knows best! Never feel guilty about this!

Always remember to take care of yourself as well, it is so easy to just get all caught up in your baby and completely throw your needs or cares to the wind, you can’t pour into somebody else’s cup unless you have some in yours already 🤍
